Here again

Well, sitting here waiting to go into the doctors office again. The story of my life.......

OK, back again

WOW,
It has been a LONG time since I posted here. So much has happened.
In 2015 I had a gastric sleeve operation to loose weight. I have lost over 112 lbs. I was getting close to 300 lbs.
Not good for a person with my frame.
Anyways, all was great until March of 2016. I developed a whole in my stomach, which is a BIG deal. I could have died.
Since March I have been on a feeding tube with NO FOOD or drink. This is the toughest thing I have ever done.
There was a brief time in October when I was finally back on "regular" food again, but got another fistula which is an internal leak. So, no more food or drink.....
THIS TOTALLY SUCKS.
More updates in a while.

2 More Years Again

It"s been a LONG TIME between posts again........ I gotta start posting more often again.

I really need to post here more often. I used to make this a regular place to "vent", but have forgotten about it. Well, I'm back!!! I promise to post here more than every 6 months..... :(

It IS rather late, so I'm off to bed.

In the hospital..... again.

Well, I'm in the hospital again. This time I have an abscess behind my incision from my hernia repair. I haven't been posting in here for quite a while. I guess I'll need to go back and fill in all the lost time. I'll have to do that when I get a regular keyboard. Typing with my thumbs sucks. More later....

Wow, It's been more than 3 years.....

Holly cow, It's been over 3 years since I posted here last. I just haven't really been in to the whole computer thing I guess.

I HATE PAINTING........

Well, it's been six years but it was time to do a little painting inside the house. We were getting a little tired of looking at "egg shell" colored walls, so we both decided to add some color. After the usual bickering about what we both liked we settled on what we were going to paint. The den is a coffee colored brown, but it looks like a honey mustard shade. It looks OUTSTANDING compared to off-white........... The foyer and hallway is a "sage" color. It blends well with the den. The living room is a medium to dark greenish color. We both like it a lot. I FINALLY kicked my brother-in-law out so we painted his old room kind of a light rose color. I think it is going to be a crafting room for Maggie.

Anyways, we are about done with that project, so I guess we need to put some stain on the deck before the sun totally screws it up. More on that later.
